The Bali Communiqué
In November 2007, the EU & UK CLG joined forces to publish The Bali Communiqué on Climate Change ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference in Bali. The Bali Communiqué was endorsed by over 150 companies from around the world and appeared in a full colour, centre-spread advert in the global edition of the Financial Times on Friday 30th November 2007, on the eve of the Bali conference. It was a major media story around the world and in representing the strong voice of global business was considered by many involved in the negotiations to have had a significant influence on the outcome.
